Solock builds smart beach lockers. To open a locker we need a few details — no more than that. This page explains what we collect, why, and how you stay in control.

What we collect

Account details you give us (name, email, phone), reservation details (hub, date, duration, beach set), payment status from our payment provider, and technical data needed to open a locker such as your device's Bluetooth handshake and approximate location at the hub.

Why we use it

To create and open your locker session, to process payments, to send you session reminders and warnings before your time runs out, and to keep our hubs secure and maintained.

Payments

Card, Apple Pay, Google Pay and iDEAL transactions are handled by our payment provider. Solock never stores full card numbers.

How long we keep it

Session data stays available in your account history. Technical unlock logs are kept for a limited period for security and support, then removed or aggregated into anonymous statistics.

Sharing

We share only what is needed with our payment provider, our hosting and messaging providers, and the beach club that operates your hub (for example that a locker is in use). We do not sell personal data.

Your rights

You can request access, correction, export or deletion of your data at any time via privacy@solock.nl. You can also object to marketing messages with one tap in the app.

Cookies

Our website uses functional storage to remember your language and session. Analytics, if enabled, are used in aggregated form only.
